I’m making self care guidelines for myself to follow, as I have been letting myself go due to stress and I need to make better habits. This is for myself only, pinning to my blog so I don’t lose it and so I can read over it often so I don’t forget anything! 💜🌧️☕️🦋
🛁Hygiene:
- Shower daily, wash hair every 5th day
- Shave as needed
- Use heat protectant, hair masks, and oil for hair health
- Keep hair neat and styled
- Wear makeup as often as possible
- Sleep with a silk bonnet
- Brush, floss, mouthwash twice daily
- Wash face and use appropriate skincare twice daily
- Do not pick blemishes, use spot treatments
- Always smell nice, carry travel size deodorant in purse
- Always use SPF
- Keep nails and cuticles tidy, keep toenails painted and trimmed
🍓Nutrition
- Stay under 1400 no matter what
- Eat fruits/veg, and protein at every meal
- Drink 2L water minimum
- Diet pop, bubly water, tea with stevia, coffee with sugar free creamer for cravings
- Avoid alcohol except for rare occasions
- Bring 1L water bottle everywhere
- More smoothies/green juices
🏃🏻♀️Activity
- 10,000 steps every day no matter what, wear Apple Watch every day to track
- Go for walks, hikes, bike rides, jogging, stairs
- Do Pilates from YouTube at home
- Never rest until the entire house is spotless
- Park farther away and walk more
- Keep AirPods charged and in my bag for being out and about
- Get up early (6am) and go to bed early (10pm)
- Spend mornings and evenings outside instead of scrolling/ sitting around
- More reading, and making art instead of screen time
- Stretch EVERY DAY
- During winter when it is too cold I will buy a gym membership and go use the treadmill every day that I am not snowboarding
